If you can’t get enough of LEGOs, then jump on the next plane to the new LEGO House: Home of the Brick, a roughly 130,000-square-foot compound in Denmark offering 25 million LEGO bricks and every possible way to play with them, in addition to special exhibitions, galleries, and interactive spaces. The “LEGO experience house” took seven years to build and is situated near the popular LEGOLAND amusement park, so you can easily spend a full holiday trip there.

The main square, nine (yes, nine!) rooftop playgrounds, and three restaurants are always open to the public. But for maximum fun, you’ll want to buy tickets to get into the Experience Zones, where you can craft towering sculptures, make your own creation to take home, and build animals, skyscrapers, or even a giant waterfall. And, of course, there are master sculptures throughout the space to ooh and ahh at.

For the Christmas-related special activities, you can join in a holiday-themed treasure hunt, build a snowman, or explore a forest made entirely of LEGOs-you can even help build some of the trees! The holiday exhibits run through December 30, and there are a variety of family-friendly, LEGO-themed accommodations, from the LEGOLAND hotel to its Holiday Village cabins.
