Spencer Pratt Calls Out Sister Stephanie After She Body-Shames Heidi Montag

Spencer Pratt is sticking up for Heidi Montag after his sister, Stephanie Pratt, decided to body-shame her on Instagram. Heidi has been dealing with internet hate for a couple of months and evidently, there’s trolling coming from people inside her family too.

Stephanie shared a photo on her Instagram Story of Heidi on the beach. She wrote, “Yay, Heidi’s pregnant! I hope she has a little girl this time. Cute bump.” Except Heidi is def not pregnant and has made that super clear. Fans immediately rushed to her defense by commenting on one of her recent Instagram photos.

“Stephanie just posted ur pregnant but I don’t see that u posted it,” one follower wrote. “Wtf I hope she's not revealing it for u.” Spencer responded, “Heidi is not pregnant. Just being body shamed.”

If that wasn’t gross enough, Stephanie also tweeted, “I saw the photos!—congratulations on your second pregnancy Heidi! Pregnancy looks great on you!!”

If you’re not a fan of The Hills, then here’s the TL;DR on the Heidi/Spencer/Stephanie super-dramatic feud. Basically, at the height of the reality show’s popularity, Stephanie was #TeamLauren, meanwhile, Spencer was #TeamHeidi (obvs). The issue is that the siblings were *super* close until Spencer and Heidi started dating. So, there’s 100 percent bad blood, but it’s also 100 percent not okay to tear someone down for any reason (which should go without saying).

“You need to think about what messages your current fat-shaming stories are communicating,” one person commented on one of Stephanie’s recent Instagram posts. “Not only is it unkind, but absolutely devastating to people who suffer from eating disorders or have difficulty with their body image. Stop. Do better.”

Another wrote, “What’s wrong with you to post those things? I always liked you but damn...no one thinks it’s funny.”

Yeah, literally...no one.
