Southwest is back at it, with a summer one-way fare sale that has us scrambling to pick our next domestic vacation. There's a lot to wade through, since this sale has more than 1,000 non-stop routes under $200, with some as low as $39. Plus, since the deal is good from 88 of Southwest's departure cities—from Albany to Denver to Portland—just about all of the contiguous U.S. can book a getaway. You'll have to put up with Southwest's southern charm—which rubs some at Traveler the wrong way—but if you make it through a transatlantic budget airline flight, hey, you can handle the occasionally chatty flight attendant.

Like many flight deals, there are a few restrictions, but they won't stand in the way of a weekend getaway. The fares are lowest on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, and tickets are available between May 16 and June 14 and again between August 22 and November 1. The fares we're eyeing include: $39 flights between Long Beach and Las Vegas; $59 fares for San Francisco to or from Los Angeles; $99 flights between Detroit and Nashville; and $109 flights between New York's Newark airport and Austin.

How to book: You can find all of the sale's fares, broken down by departure city, on Southwest's special offer site. You'll need to book before May 4, when the deal expires. Pro tip: spend the $15 for EarlyBird Check-In, which means you'll be one of the first 50 people on the flight and have a better chance of getting the window, middle, or aisle seat of your choosing. Plus, since two checked bags fly free and flights longer than two hours still have complimentary peanuts and pretzels, you won't have to worry about additional fees.
