Travel is available for one-way “Wanna Get Away” special fares, and you must travel between April 13 and June 2 for flights within the Continental U.S., San Juan, Puerto Rico, and any other international destination and between April 13 and May 26 for Hawaii.

If you’re not currently a Southwest Rapid Rewards cardholder, Southwest Airlines’ suite of consumer Rapid Rewards credit cards is offering new cardmembers a Companion Pass, plus an additional 30,000 bonus points to use towards future flights. Just sign up for a card before March 10.
What Is the Southwest Companion Pass Offer?
The Companion Pass allows holders to bring a companion with them on any Southwest flight and only pay taxes and fees on the plus-one ticket. In other words, if you book a roundtrip ticket for $350, you can add your companion to your reservation and pay only $11.20 for them to join you. You can also change your companion up to three times in a calendar year, so if you don’t regularly travel with any one person, you’ll have some flexibility.
Depending on how often you fly, having the Companion Pass could save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars on flights with your chosen travel buddy. Even if you only fly once, the savings can be worth it. The 2-for-1 offer also nets you those 30,000 sign-up bonus points.
