Washington State junior Robert Franks has declared for the 2018 NBA draft and intends to sign with an agent, sources told Yahoo Sports.

Franks, the Pac-12 Most Improved Player of the Year, informed the Washington State coaching staff of his decision on Monday, sources said. A strong outside shooter at 6-foot-8, Franks could intrigue NBA executives during the predraft process.

Franks, 21, averaged 17.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 40.5 percent 3-point shooting in 30 games this past season. He scored 34 points on a team-record 10 3-pointers in a conference game against California in January.
