Sources: Orlando's Arron Afflalo suspended 2 games for altercation with Minnesota's Nemanja Bjelica

Orlando Magic guard Arron Afflalo has been suspended two games by the NBA for an altercation on Tuesday in which he attempted to punch Minnesota Timberwolves forward Nemanja Bjelica, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Afflalo and Bjelica engaged in an altercation in the second quarter of the Magic’s home win over Minnesota on Tuesday night. Both were ejected for the incident.

Afflalo, 32, has averaged three points and 12.9 minutes in 35 games this season. He is in his 11th NBA season after being drafted 27th overall by the Detroit Pistons in 2007.

Afflalo has averaged 10.9 points and 45 percent shooting in stints with Detroit, Denver, Orlando, Portland, New York and Sacramento.

Bjelica, 29, is in his third NBA season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, with whom he’s averaged 5.6 points and 3.4 rebounds.
