  • Hannah Brown was asked if she set up former Bachelorette contestant Mike Johnson with Demi Lovato last night.

  • She didn't exactly deny that she played matchmaker for the new couple.

  • Hannah said she and Mike still have a "great relationship."

When Bachelorette Hannah Brown joked that she might be a good matchmaker "just not for myself,” it wasn't totally clear what she meant. Now, fans have a better idea.

Following the Season 28 premiere of Dancing with the Stars, on which Hannah is competing with dancer Alan Bersten, Us Weekly asked the former Bachelorette if she had anything to do with Demi and Mike's flirty social media exchanges and first date.

(ICYMI: After Mike was eliminated from The Bachelorette, Demi Lovato posted on an Instagram Story, "Mike I accept your rose," which led to some online banter.)

“What?! Well, uh …” Hannah responded. "Mike and I still have a great relationship, and Demi has been so supportive of me. So, I mean, they’re both great humans, and if they’re into each other, then that’s great.”

Over the weekend, Demi and Mike reportedly went on their first date, according to an "insider" who spoke to E! News. "They did go on a date and it's been going well," the source said. "They seem to have a lot in common and are just enjoying getting to know each other."

If true, then Demi isn't the only celebrity the to hit it off with the lovelorn ex-Bachelorette contestants. Gigi Hadid is reportedly dating Hannah's ex Tyler Cameron (which, okay), and Modern Family star Sarah Hyland is engaged to Wells Adams, whom she also met through shouting out the Bachelorette contestant on Twitter during his season of the show.
