Sorry all, it seems like there's a pretty good chance Justin Bieber will not be at the 2021 Grammy Awards on Sunday.

Page Six recently reported that Justin won't be attending the show because he is not performing, but there may be a deeper issue at hand. The singer is nominated for four Grammys this year, but following the nominations back in November, Justin Bieber spoke out against the award show's decision to nominate his album, Changes, as a pop album instead of as an R&B album.

"To the Grammys I am flattered to be acknowledged and appreciated for my artistry," Justin wrote on Instagram at the time. "Changes was and is an R&B album. It is not being acknowledged as an R&B album, which is very strange to me."

He continued, saying it "feels weird" that the album wasn't considered in the R&B category, "considering from the chords to the melodies to the vocal style all the way down to the hip hop drums that were chosen it is undeniably, unmistakably an R&B album!"

Justin is far from the only artist that has called out the Grammys recently. After The Weeknd failed to receive nominations for his album, After Hours, or his extremely popular song, "Blinding Lights," the singer spoke his mind of Instagram.

"The Grammys remain corrupt. You owe me, my fans and the industry transparency." According to ABC News, he later said, "I will no longer allow my label to submit my music to the Grammys."

Zayn Malik also spoke out against the awards earlier this week when he tweeted, "F*ck the grammys and everyone associated. Unless you shake hands and send gifts, there’s no nomination considerations. Next year I’ll send you a basket of confectionary."

Many pointed out the Zayn's recent album wasn't eligible for a nomination this year, but he later said that wasn't the point. "My tweet was not personal or about eligibility but was about the need for inclusion and the lack of transparency of the nomination process and the space that creates and allows favoritism, racism, and networking politics to influence the voting process," he wrote in a follow-up tweet.

So, unfortunately, it seems like Justin, Zayn, and The Weeknd will all be missing from the awards this year. Luckily, though, many of your other faves will be there, including Harry Styles, who will be opening up the show on Sunday night.
