Sophie Turner Makes Surprise Appearance at Jonas Brothers Concert to Celebrate Joe Jonas's Birthday

Joe Jonas turned 30 on Thursday, August 15, and it’s safe to say he had a pretty amazing birthday, thanks to Sophie Turner.

As noted by People, the Game of Thrones star made a surprise cameo onstage during the Washington D.C. stop of the Jonas Brothers’ Happiness Begins tour. Sophie surprised Joe with a celebratory cake, and sung “Happy Birthday” to the singer with the help of his bandmates, Danielle Jonas, and, of course, the entire crowd.

Joe shared the festive moment with his social media followers, writing on Instagram: “Couldn’t have asked for a better night, thank you all so much. Nothing better than doing what I love with my loves on my birthday.”

As sweet as the surprise was, Joe's actual birthday cake might have been even sweeter. The three-tier cake was created by pastry chef Caitlin Taylor of Charm City Cakes, and featured brightly-colored sunglasses and palm trees, with a display of “Happy birthday Joe” on the highest layer. Atop the cake is a tiny replica of Sophie and Joe, with the birthday boy sitting on the Iron Throne. “We were so excited to make Joe Jonas’s his own 🎶Cake by the Ocean🎶,” Charm City Cakes wrote on Instagram.

Naturally, Joe’s family weren’t the only ones excited to celebrate the big 3-0; the singer’s fans were just as pumped about his birthday. “30 years old and living the dream of devouring your b'day cake in public,” one fan wrote on Twitter, adding: “No matter how old he gets, @joejonas never loses that adorable, fun spark of his. Stay awesome Joe!” One person mused: “Imagine being at a Jonas Brothers show and the Queen in the North shows up” (best day ever), while another weighed in to declare Joe and Sophie as “goals.”

One thing is for sure; it seems as though the singer had a thirtieth birthday he will never forget. HBD, Joe!
