Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas Share Their First Personal Wedding Photos on Instagram

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have made their French nuptials Instagram official. The newlywed couple just broke their silence after tying the knot at Château du Martinay, in Carpentras, France. Both Sophie and Joe shared the same first personal photo from the big day. "Mr and Mrs Jonas" they wrote in the caption.

They shared the photo shortly after Louis Vuitton designer Nicolas Ghesquière shared the first close look at her dress he designed:

This is their first time acknowledging their marriage. While Sophie and Joe didn't deny they got married in Las Vegas officially back in May, they did not share photos from their quickie ceremony there. Instead, Diplo live-streamed the entire thing on his Instagram Story without their permission so everyone got to see the jumpsuit Sophie wore and suit Joe did.

Sophie explained later in an interview with Porter magazine that while they were not mad, she hadn't really intended for her marriage to go viral on social media. Of Diplo documenting everything on his Instagram, Sophie quipped, “It would have been better if no one had known, but I actually think it was funny."

The bride also said she would've kept her and Joe's married status to themselves “maybe not forever. I think at some point I would have had to stop saying 'fiancé', but yes, I would have kept it a secret. Marriage is a private thing between two people and I think that’s how it should always be. It’s not about the dress, it’s not about the food. It’s about being husband and wife, and being dedicated to each other forever.”
