Sophia Hutchins hit out at people saying she's in a relationship with Caitlyn Jenner
Sophia Hutchins has hit out at people saying she and Caitlyn Jenner are in a relationship saying that they are not romantically involved, and that she's "tired of rumours" and doesn't want "controversy".
Sophia has been Caitlyn's friend and manager for years, but earlier this week a news report began circulating on social media which stated that the pair had been "together" for four years. Eventually Sophia shared a screenshot of the report on her Instagram Story along with the caption, "Fake news! Not a lesbian! F*** off."
She then added, "Love the whole LGBT community but so tired of rumors that I am romantically with Caitlyn. I am only ever with men and only ever have been. Stop the rumors! It’s been years."
Later Sophia followed up in a statement to People in which she explained her comments, saying, "I don't want controversy. I am just trying to live my life. Caitlyn is a parent to me. I have said that a million times. It is a parental, familial relationship. I feel so blessed and humbled to be a part of such an amazing family and that she treats me like a daughter," she said, adding, "There's no hanky panky. I feel like I've been saying that for the past five years."
This isn't the first time Sophia and Caitlyn have had to deny rumours of a romantic relationship. Back in May 2020 Sophia responded to speculation on the Juicy Scoop podcast, clarifying, "It was never romantic. It was never sexual. It was very much friends."
