Sofia Vergara is a CoverGirl Even on Her Wedding Day

They say that celebrities are never really off-duty, and that’s definitely the case for Sofia Vergara, who repped CoverGirl on her wedding day. For her nuptials on Sunday, the cosmetic spokesperson and Modern Family star rocked a custom CoverGirl lipstick shade called Sofia in Love, along with a slew of other drugstore products that made her look easy, breezy, beautiful… and like her best self.
Back in September, Vergara told us that she wouldn’t stray too much from her signature look. “Women sometimes think because it’s the wedding they want to do something special — they don’t want to do the same thing that they do every day,” Vergara told Yahoo Beauty. “Sometimes they go too crazy and they try things that are just not for them, and then you see the pictures and that’s it. They have one opportunity — you can’t go back and redo all the pictures from the night of your wedding.” She also knew she wanted a great lipstick. “I want to use a bold lip to make it modern,” said Vergara. “I’m an older bride, I’m 43, so I don’t want to play the role of the virgin getting married all pale and all that. I’m going to do something interesting.”

First Vergara used CoverGirl Outlast All Day Primer ($10) to help lock in her look. Next, Vergara applied CoverGirl Outlast Stay Luminous Foundation in Classic Tan ($9). “This foundation gives you a natural glow and it will last all day,” Vergara says. As a star who’s clearly been learning tips from the pros, Vergara used CoverGirl Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner in Chestnut ($6) and set it with some shadow from CoverGirl’s Eyeshadow Quads in Go for the Golds ($7). To finish the eyes, the actress relied on CoverGirl Lashblast Volume Mascara ($6). She topped it all off with CoverGirl Outlast Longwear Lipstick in Sofia’s custom shade, Sofia in Love. The color will not be available in stores, but similar shades are available for $7. She wore her hair down in soft waves and pinned to one side with a jeweled barette.

Vergara looked stunning on her big day, and we have no doubt that husband Joe Manganiello adored her look, too. “He doesn’t like when a girl doesn’t do any makeup,” the actress told us. “And in my experience — I’ve had many boyfriends — and I’ve never had a guy complaining about my makeup. I think they like girls to make an effort.”
