We love a good high-low fashion moment—mixing expensive designer duds with more affordable wardrobe staples—and Sofía Vergara’s latest Instagram story proves she’s a fan of the trend as well. The Modern Family actress posted a shot of her “Monday hustle” outfit, tagging both her high-end designer pieces and her more relatable Walmart picks, all while giving us a peek at her stunning kitchen and adorable dog, as well.

Vergara’s (mostly) casual look combined a gorgeous quilted Chanel bag in forest green and some enviable (if slightly intimidating) strappy platform sandals by Saint Laurent with easy cropped denim from Walmart and a matching black lace cami and duster jacket. It was a fabulous example of how just one or two high-end pieces can really elevate an otherwise basic outfit, and how our beloved under-$100 wardrobe staples can absolutely be worn with fancier investment items.

This is not the first time the actress has posted about her love of mixing high and low. Earlier this month she posted another Walmart look, this time a matching black zip-up ($13) and trackpants ($13) from her namesake activewear line with the retailer, worn with classic chestnut UGGs ($220) and a leopard print Dior tote bag ($3,800).

Vergara’s most recent post was captioned with the words “Monday hustle,” perhaps in reference to her latest role in Netflix’s upcoming series Griselda. The 49-year-old will be starring as Griselda Blanco (AKA La Madrina or “The Godmother”), a notorious drug kingpin who became one of the richest people in the world, as well as executive producing the six-episode series. No word yet on when the series will hit the small screen, but the actress has reportedly been working on the story for the past eight years.

While we wait to see more of Vergara as Griselda herself, we’re more than happy to continue copying her real-life outfits—or at least pairing our very own Walmart jeans with our favorite investment accessories, Chanel or otherwise.
