From Marie Claire

Step aside, Katniss Everdeen. Lady Gaga is here to save the day. The singer kicked off the Biden-Harris swearing-in ceremonies during Wednesday's inauguration with a show-stopping rendition of the National Anthem. But in true Gaga style, she made sure to meet the moment with her fashion A-game, opting for a custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture outfit designed by Daniel Roseberry. The look included a fitted navy cashmere jacket, a red silk pleated floor-length skirt, and the pièce de résistance: an oversized gilded brooch of a dove carrying an olive branch (to symbolize peace) and a golden mic. She completed the look with a crown of braids.

Many on social media applauded Gaga's beautiful performance (though, we at Marie Claire did hope she'd somehow work in the last verse of Shallow...) while others praised her LEWK. Others poked fun at how extra Gaga looked among a sea of politicians (very well dressed politicians, but restrained nonetheless). Not to mention, the dove pin was big...like, it could run for political office big.
