'SNL' Responds to Claims That Pete Davidson's Missed Rehearsals and Is Acting Like "Total Diva"

Saturday Night Live has responded to a report from The Sun that claims Pete Davidson has missed rehearsals and is becoming a "total diva" amid his romance with Kim Kardashian. An NBC spokesperson released a statement to Us Weekly denying the claims, simply saying “no rehearsals have been missed” and "it's not true."

The Sun's source had previously claimed that "Pete has become a total diva at SNL. He missed the first few days of rehearsal last week and was still allowed to be in Saturday's show. Normally, if you miss any rehearsals, you are out of the show on Saturday night, and the cast is starting to turn on him. He also now has security for when he's outside the building. Colin [Jost] married an actual movie star [Scarlett Johansson] and yet Pete is getting more attention."

Obviously, Pete and Kim started dating after re-connecting while she was hosting Saturday Night Live, and they've been going strong ever since—spending time in Los Angeles and equally chic place that celebrities now flock to, Staten Island.

Most recently, Pete and Kim went on vacation together in the Bahamas, and their relationship has only gotten stronger—especially as things remain tense between Kim and Kanye West. A source previously told Us Weekly that Pete helps Kim “laugh and feel comfortable during this rough time,” and that the situation with Kanye is “not impacting their relationship at all. If anything, this drama is bringing Kim and Pete closer together because he makes things so easy.”
