Will Smith shared a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming Fresh Prince of Bel-Air reunion set to premiere on HBO Max later this fall.
Smith also shared a solo photo with actress Janet Hubert, who played Aunt Viv for the show's first three seasons.
The reunion for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is well underway.
Yesterday, Will Smith shared a behind-the-scenes snap of the original cast ahead of the show's 30th anniversary reunion special on HBO Max.
"Today is exactly 30 YEARS since The @FreshPrince of Bel-Air debuted! So we're doin' something for y'all… a for real Banks Family Reunion is comin' soon to @HBOmax! RIP James. #FreshPrince30th," wrote Smith in the caption of the photo, which included Smith, Alfonso Ribeiro, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, Joseph Marcell, Daphne Maxwell Reid, and DJ Jazzy Jeff. James Avery, who played the family patriarch throughout its six seasons, passed away in 2013.

Smith also surprised fans by sharing an additional photo with actress Janet Hubert, who played the Banks family matriarch for the first three seasons. Hubert famously left after reported tension with some of the cast, including Smith himself. Fans quickly took to social media to share their shock and excitement over Hubert's participation in the upcoming reunion.

The reunion special is set to premiere sometime near Thanksgiving, according to The Hollywood Reporter. HBO is also reportedly planning to incorporate nostalgia, music, and surprise guests into the special, while the cast reflects on some of the hit show's most memorable scenes.
