Everything is just fine in the Smith family following Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Red Table Talk.
Sources report they’re glad the talk happened, and Jaden and Willow Smith are totally cool with it.
Hard to believe that August Alsina went on the record and said he and Jada Pinkett-Smith had a relationship with each other just two whole weeks ago, but here we are, folks. At first, Jada categorically denied the rumors. But then she confirmed the rumors to be true in a heavily meme’d episode of her Red Table Talk show, in which she and Will Smith talked about her “entanglement” in detail. While it seems like this entire thing would be just a *smidge* awkward for their kids, Jaden and Willow Smith, it’s apparently chill and the family is happy the truth has come to light.
According to Us Weekly, “The Smiths as a family are really glad they addressed this and put everything out in the open,” their source said. “Will and Jada, at the end of the day, are like a normal couple who just happen to be glorified because they’re famous. They have fought. They have reconciled. At the end of the day, they do love each other.”
Us Weekly’s source also said the situation was “blown out of proportion,” which probs means that they can’t fathom why everyone is spiraling over it. “At the end of the day, what hasn’t changed is the love that Will and Jada have for each other, and the deep love that their children have for them,” the source added. “They are an extremely close family, famous or not.”
And as for Jaden and Willow? Yeah, they’re reportedly “good, happy and strong” after the drama. “[Will and Jada] adore their kids, their kids adore them,” a second insider explained to Us Weekly. “Everyone wants this to fade away.”
Glad to see the kids are doing just fine following this (very dramatic) family episode, but that part about this fading away? Yeah...August’s recent Twitter rant leads me to think that might not be the case....
