Not this type of curling? That makes a lot more sense.

Hey, there. And welcome to "In the Know: Make Me Up." I'm Melanie. And today, we're going to be talking about those viral beauty trends that you've been wanting to try but just can't quite decide if you should spend your money on. So I have done it. Thank you, Melanie's credit card. Today, we're talking all about heatlessly curling your hair to save you from that damage to make your hair look glowing, and happy, and get rid of those split ends. So now we are going to talk about the one and only heatless hair curling ribbon. This is the OG ribbon that started it all. This whole thing in general is 100% silk, so it's really nice on your hair, and it's gentle. And then it comes with a little jaw clip, which is super cute, and also you can use it later on, which I love. Now, it's time to actually put this curling ribbon on and see what it can do.

So you're going to take a little water bottle and you're just going to spray this down. You don't want it to be too wet. But essentially, you just want it to be slightly damp so it will hold. We're going to take our curling ribbon. And once you have your hair parted in the middle, you're going to pop it right on top. You're going to take that beautiful jaw clip. Just clip that on the side. And we're essentially going to roll. So you're going to wrap, and then pick up a little bit more hair. There you go. You want it to be super tight. If you want more tight defined curls, that's when you're going to do a tighter wrap. But if you want something a little looser, like a beachy or wave, that's when you would do a looser wrap overall.

This is incredibly easy and it just feels really nice. I want to make sure I get all those little baby hairs. Perfect. I'm going to take this scrunchie. What I like about this scrunchie especially, is that it's not super tight, and it's thick enough that it's not going to leave creases in your hair. So we've got one side done. That was pretty effortless. OK. We're going to take this little clip out. This can go away now. And we're going to take the other side and do the same thing. So a smaller piece to start, wrap it around, pick up more hair as you go. The tighter the wrap, the more your hair is going to be defined, which for me is something I like. Because I have longer hair, I feel like loose waves don't really sit on my hair as long. They kind of have a tendency to fall. So the tighter I can start my curl, the better off it's going to be and the longer it's going to last throughout the day. Wrap that around. Beautiful. [INAUDIBLE] scrunchie.

I'm going to do one last little spray. So then what you're going to do is you can either go to sleep, or for me I might go and do some Jumping Jacks, have a dance party, send some texts, maybe go unhinge again, see if there's anybody out there. So we will see you in just a moment. Ta-ta.

Now that I've gotten some very important business out of the way, it's time to do the big reveal. I don't know if you're ready for this jelly. I don't think I am either. I'm so excited. We're going to slowly unravel. It's happening. It's happening. Are you kidding? This is awesome. How was there no heat for this? I feel like I got bamboozled. Like, I did this and I'm not even sure.
