Skechers Is Doing a "Sailor Moon” Collaboration

You won't need the power of the moon to cop the latest Sailor Moon fashion release, but you will need a plane ticket to Singapore. Everyone's favorite guardian of love and justice is the face of a brand new line of Skechers sneakers, and these kicks might be more adorable than spending an entire day with a talking cat.

On January 28, Hypebae shared the details on the new Sailor Moon x Skechers launch, noting that the collab is exclusive to Skechers stores in Singapore, as well as the ION Orchard, Plaza Singapura, NEX, Jewel Changi Airport, Jurong Poin, and Bugis Junction — for now. If you're in U.S. soil, it might be hard to cop a pair of these at the moment, however, as we have so often learned from Sailor Moon, that doesn't mean we should stop dreaming so we're already scheming of ways to get our hands on the sneakers.

Master plans to acquire these cute kicks aside, Hypebae notes that each sailor scout gets their own shoe for the collection, which features five styles in total. The brand's D’Lites Airy 2.0 silhouette serves as the shoe backdrop for the collab, and each pair of sneakers features colors specific to a scout. In addition to the shoe's colorful hues, Hypebae notes that coordinating planetary symbols are included on the shoe's tongue, and each pair uses ribbon lacing.

Before you make like Sailor Moon and enjoy a good cry over not being able to get your hands on these sneakers, remember that there are plenty of other stylish Sailor Moon options available.
