SISD, YISD offer free meals for all children in June

The Socorro Independent School District’s Child Nutrition Services Department is offering free meals to all children ages 18 and younger in June.

The meals will be offered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday from June 12 through June 29 at participating sites. Americas, Pebble Hills and Socorro high schools will provide free meals to children from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, until June 30.

The Summer Food Program provides nutritious meals at no cost to all children at participating schools. There are no fees or proof of income required. To participate, children only need to show up. The summer menu will be available on the Child Nutrition Services webpage on the district website at www.sisd.net. YISD offers Summer Food Service Program in June

The 2023 Ysleta ISD Summer Food Service Program will provide free breakfast and lunch meals to children ages 1-18 from Monday through Friday in June. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Through June 16, meals will be served at:

· Dolphin Terrace Elementary, 9790 Pickerel Drive

· Presa Elementary, 128 Presa Place

· Scotsdale Elementary, 2901 McRae Blvd.

Through June 30:

· Bel Air High, 731 N. Yarbrough Drive

· Del Valle High, 950 Bordeaux Drive

· Eastwood High, 2430 McRae Blvd.

· Hanks High, 2001 Lee Trevino Drive

· Parkland High, 5932 Quail Ave.

· Riverside High, 301 Midway Drive

· Ysleta High, 8600 Alameda Ave.
