Few people can dress for the British countryside quite like the Duchess of Cambridge. Her repertoire of Barbour jackets, fair isle sweaters, and riding boots is enviable, yet accessible. Unlike some of the Duchess's more formal looks, this genre of outfit is ripe for recreation with royals and non-royals alike and Kate's ensemble today is no exception.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited County Durham today, stopping at a family-run farm near Darlington and a local youth project. At Manor Farm, the royals received a tour, and also interacted with some of the sheep. The Duchess even drove a tractor around the property.

Naturally, Kate's outfit had to be both stylish and comfortable, appropriate for both the cameras and the livestock. For the occasion, she chose a cream fair isle sweater, waxed green jacket, blue jeans, and brown riding boots.

Kate's boots, the Penelope Chivers Long Tassle Boots, are some of her favorites; she's worn them for over a decade.

The Duchess of Cambridge is a longtime fan of the fair isle sweater. This iteration is from British brand Troy London. Kate previously wore the same sweater in December, while on a royal train tour with Prince William.

Finally, the Duchess, like many of the British royals, has a penchant for waxed jackets. While it is unclear whether this specific style is from Barbour, the brand is a family favorite.
