Shop the Hoop Earrings All the Celebrities Are Wearing

Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Tracee Ellis Ross are among the innumerable celebs who have been spotted in the same pair of hoop earrings. Who are they by? None other than jewelry-maven-designer/budding-chef Jennifer Fisher. They are called the “Samira Hoops” and are offered in three sizes — 1.5-inch, 2.5-inch, and 3-inch diameter — and in two tones — 14k-gold-plated brass and silver-plated brass. They retail for $250 to $650 a pair, depending on the size.

Aside from Rihanna, Keys, and Ross, supermodels Adwoa Aboah and Alessandra Ambrosio, as well as actresses Kerry Washington and Kristen Bell, have all worn the Samira Hoops. Fisher’s jewels are found in fashion editorial pages, like those of Vogue, and can be seen on the mag’s April cover star, Selena Gomez, who wears them throughout the spread.

The trendy ’90s-style earrings have clearly made their way back into the wardrobes of fashion’s most stylish celebrities — trends, after all, tend to trickle down from the runways as often as they repeat in history. Marc Jacobs, for example, staged his entire Fall/Winter 2017 fashion show around the hip-hop generation, complete with gold bling, hoops and all.

Fisher, known for her modern, geometrically shaped baubles and personal charm jewelry, has seen her designs become a staple among the celebrity “it” crowd — including Priyanka Chopra, who wore a different style of Fisher’s earrings on the Met Gala’s red carpet earlier this week.

The designer’s own personal style is one to remember too, as it often includes designer bits from Balenciaga, Céline, and Gucci. She boasts more than 200,000 followers on her Instagram page, where you’ll find a mix of endless celebrity credits, delectable food concoctions, and the occasional selfie. Fisher is the real-life Renaissance woman, balancing motherhood and marriage with the tasks of running her own jewelry empire.
