If your summer and spring workout-wear needs an overhaul, Halle Berry’s rē∙spin’s latest collaboration with Sweaty Betty might be the answer to your prayers. If you’re trying to look really cute and like a badass, you’re especially in luck as these ‘fits are inspired by boxing and Japanese jiu-jitsu.
The clothes, which play to Sweaty Betty’s strengths — think: sweat-wicking and high-performance fabrics in classic, subtly beautiful colors — with Berry’s own tastes and styles thrown in (cool geometric prints, cool crops and even a workout friendly midi dress!)

“I wanted to have a great collab using the strengths of Sweaty Betty, but with injecting my own sensibilities,” Berry told Vogue. “…I think we’ve also learned that this comfy-cozy style has many benefits to it. We’ve gotten really used to being kind of comfortable and we’ll get back to hardcore fashion. That’s never going to go away, but I think our day-to-day lives right now are still very much entrenched in just being comfortable.”

Okay, the minute I read about this dress — and then when I saw it — I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. A classic black dress that’s maxi-midi length, breathable and comfortable and presentable enough to throw on for errands or a long walk with your dog and then tune into a zoom meeting or meet friends for outdoor drinks and still look cute is like the definition of a holy grail item in 2021. The only possible flaw (which I barely count) is that the tan lines I might get on my back would be a bit interesting if I’m careless about my SPF, but it’s worth the risk.
