The Kane ($80) is made of durable nylon and has a padded laptop sleeve in the main compartment that fits a 13-inch laptop, as well as standard sized folders and books. The outside has side pockets that can fit up to a 17-inch Swell water bottle and front pockets to organize pens and other supplies.

The Bennet XL ($165) is an oversized "utilitarian" bag that fits up to a 17" laptop and has enough room for gym sneakers, a change of clothes, a water bottle and more. In the black coated canvas color, it looks a bit like leather, but is much lighter.
