Six-year-old Leo Kelly is blowing people away with his sweet and spot-on reviews of Shirley Temples that are posted to his Instagram account, @TheShirleyTempleKing. The little guy recently went viral, and he just went on the Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about his favorite topic, which you must know by now, is Shirley Temples.

Ellen chatted with Leo about the kid-friendly beverage and, it turns out, his love for Shirley Temples runs deep. Leo said he’s been having his go-to drink “basically ever since I could talk.” Kelly made sure to mention that he drinks water 99 percent of the time, “but Shirley Temples are just a special drink for me.”

Then, Leo dove into why exactly, he loves Shirley Temples so much: “Every drink you’re like, ‘That’s good!’ And then you get the spark and you’re like ‘mmm!’ Then you get the cherry flavor and the grenadine and then you get the ginger ale!” he said.

Leo then listed off his preferences: He’s big on Canada Dry ginger ale (he doesn’t like Sprite in his Shirley Temples), he likes Rose’s grenadine, and he prefers his drinks served with three cherries and four ice cubes.

Ellen decided to have celebrity chefs Curtis Stone, Susan Feniger, and Cat Cora whip up Shirley Temples for Leo and have him rate them. And…he didn’t love them all. Cora’s drink got high marks, Feniger’s Shirley Temple got a face, and Stone’s got a happy nod.

“It was pretty good,” Leo said of Cora’s drink, rating it an 8.2. Despite Feniger using a homemade grenadine, Leo gave it a ruthless score of a five. Stone’s had ice balls of lemonade and got a rating of an 8.22, trumping everyone.

Kelly was sent home with a massive cart full of Shirley Temple King swag, along with some serious memories.
