The First Trailer For "Shazam! Fury Of The Gods" Is Here And Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, And Rachel Zegler Have Arrived To Kick All Kinds Of Butt

Y'all, I'm going to cut right to the chase on this one: BuzzFeed is still reporting to you live from San Diego Comic-Con 2022, where we were just blessed with our first trailer for the highly anticipated Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and it looks so fun! Check out the trailer for yourself here:

As you can tell by the footage, the full Shazam family (or, as the cast referred to themselves, the "Shazamily") are back at it again, fighting crime and protecting their city — all while trying to figure out how to be totally normal teens.

Though, it's pretty clear from the trailer that Billy Batson is having a bit of an identity crisis, and we find him comparing himself to other DCEU heroes (who are still very much canon in this film).

But he's got bigger problems on his hands when a new super-powered group show up to challenge the family, who aren't too happy that a whole group of children somehow have the power of the Gods at their disposal.

And y'all: When I say the new additions to the cast are next level, I mean we now have Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, and Rachel Zegler on board! LIKE, COME ON!

Also (unrelated, but kind of related), hey, an Annabelle doll cameo!

I see you WB! Get that cross-promotion!

In short, this looks like an even more epic ride than the original movie — which, truth be told, still remains my personal fave DCEU movie to date. It's adorable, and I would very much like the energy of this trailer pumped directly into my veins, please and thank you!
