Shawn Mendes fans are not happy with the singer after a recent pre-show meet and greet left them with more questions than the ones they had before they entered the room.

On his current tour, Shawn has been having some fun with fans during his question and answer portion of his meet and greets. Fans have been spending hundreds of dollars on the chance to meet the singer and get their hottest questions answered in intimate Q+A sessions.

However, during the session before his show in Tampa, Florida, a fan asked him what inspired him to write the song Señorita, which features his much rumored BFF-turned-GF Camila Cabello. After hearing the question, Shawn gets up and leaves saying, "I love you guys have a great time!"

Fans are now calling out the singer for refusing to answer the question, especially since it's not about his rumored romance with Camila, and leaving the fan hanging after they spent money to be there.

Shawn noticed that his fans weren't happy with what went down and gave a short explanation on Twitter, reassuring them that it was just a joke and they had run out of time.

"Hey! There was no bad intention here. If you were there you would have known it was the last question & that's why I decided to turn it into a light hearted funny goodbye! Sorry if that upset anyone, I adore you guys! No need for any negativity ❤️," he wrote in a now deleted Tweet.

After deleting the tweet, Shawn wrote up another message, this time just a simple "I love you guys!!!" But, some fans are still not happy.
