"How dare he be this hot."

In her 1997 karaoke go-to "That Don't Impress Me Much," Shania Twain calls out superstar Brad Pitt — but on his birthday, she'll make an exception. Twain wished Pitt a happy birthday today with a cheeky tweet, referencing her smash hit and giving fans a laugh in the process.

"Happy Birthday to Brad Pitt, I'll make an exception for today," she wrote, adding a kissing emoji.

"Okay, so you're Brad Pitt / That don't impress me much," the song goes.

Her die-hards were understandably tickled, with one even suggesting that Twain just posted the tweet of the year. With everything going on, a throwback to the leopard-clad '90s and pop-country chart-toppers seems like an escape that the entire world needs.

To celebrate the song's 20th anniversary, Twain explained that when she wrote the song, she wasn't setting out to disparage Pitt specifically, it just so happened that he was in the news when she was penning the track.

"I was writing this album and there was a scandal of [Pitt] and Gwyneth [Paltrow] where there was naked photos of him [in Playgirl]," Twain told Billboard in 2017. "I just thought, 'I don't know what all the fuss is about.' I'm like, 'Well that don't impress me much, I mean what is all the fuss? We see people naked every day.'"

She went on to say that Pitt was a victim of circumstance and that if anyone else had been in the headlines, the song could have mentioned him. Sorry, Brad, but the now-iconic shoutout could have gone to another leading man.

"But that was just the association in that moment and things we make fusses about and whatever," she finished. "Of course, it could have been any gorgeous guy."
