Shakira Performs Her Revenge Single On ‘The Tonight Show’ In A Transparent Cut-Out Black Top And Leather Pants

Shakira stunned fans in a sheer, low-cut, skintight top and leather pants while performing her latest infectious single on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon!

While showing off her sculpted figure and enviable curves in the sultry get-up, the Grammy winner, 46, treated viewers to a powerful live rendition of her track, “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” along with Argentine DJ Bizarrap.

The song (often dubbed by fans as her “revenge single”) as the singer explained during her segment on the show, is an anthem for women, and inspired by her tumultuous 2022 separation from Spanish former professional footballer Gerard Piqué (her partner of 11 years, and who she shares two children with).

The “Hips Don’t Lie” icon’s outfit was composed of a plunging black tank top with skimpy straps, décolletage-baring cutouts and sheer fabric along with black leather pants. The latter featured cutouts as well that helped flaunt the musician’s toned thighs.

To top it all off, Shakira accessorized her monochromatic look with a shiny silver bracelet and stepped out in sleek, knee-high black boots. She wore her signature voluminous blonde tresses down, parted to the side and styled into elegant, loose waves. As for her makeup look, the “She Wolf” crooner went for subtle black liner and mascara, a dab of rosy blush on her high cheekbones and a mauve lipstick color.

Shakira Talks Writing Her Song About Separation From Ex-Partner Gerard Piqué

“After we put out this song, I really felt that I don’t have only fans out there, I have a sisterhood,” Shakira said, regarding fan support. She called it quits with her ex Piqué, 36, last year after 11 years together.

Shakira and Piqué confirmed their separation in June 2022, and two months later, he was spotted with 22-year-old Clara Chía Martí (who he was rumored to have had an affair with while still in a relationship with the “Whenever, Wherever” hitmaker).

In the lyrics for the track, Shakira sings, “So much talk of being a champion/ And when I needed you, you gave me the worst version of you.” She also croons, “I was out of your league, that’s why you’re with someone just like you,” and if that’s not bold enough, “I’m worth two 22-year-olds/ You traded in a Ferrari for a Twingo/ You traded in a Rolex for a Casio.”

During her interview, Shakira added, “I have a sisterhood of women who have been through the same things that I’ve been through, who think the way I think, who feell the way I feel, and who had to put up with so much crap the way I had to.” (The song continues to climb the charts and impresses fans with its raw, moving lyrics, catchy beats and of course, Shakira’s incredible vocals!)
