Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers surprised us all when Rodgers announced their engagement this winter. At the time, their romantic involvement had only been a rumor, but now the couple is making appearances in the world like any other high-profile pair.

On Saturday, they enjoyed the Kentucky Derby with some of their friends, including Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Sperry Teller. Sperry Teller posted a photo of the vibrantly dressed crew on her Instagram with the caption "Down N Derby馃悗." Anyone who's been to a Derby-themed sorority social (raises hand) has heard that one before, but it's been a hard year, so we'll give it to her.

In the photo, Woodley is seen wearing a pink fitted vest and matching pants with a floppy hat and giant bow. She seemed to ditch the hat later in the day, but her pink outfit was plenty appropriate for Derby day. Rodgers, who posed behind her, wore a dark suit and matching hat.

Rodgers and Woodley, who have been together since about last July, are reportedly planning to get married in California, where the majority of their friends and family live.

"Aaron is still thinking about which family members to invite. It's something that's weighing heavily on him," a source told Us Weekly, referring to Rodgers's history of family tension. "It'll for sure be a special day and it would be wrong of him to not invite his family, but everyone is aware of their strained relationship and knows that [those] problems aren鈥檛 going to get fixed in one day. Whether they decide to come [is] up to them."
