"Sex Education" Renewed for Season Three on Netflix and I’m Fangirling RN

Get ready for another year at Moordale Secondary School! Netflix has officially announced that Sex Education will return for another season.

The streaming giant announced the big news on their Twitter page with a simple tweet sharing the big news.

Season two recently premiered on January 17, which brings the renewal around the one month mark since it's return, which is typical for Netflix as they make their decisions for renewals or cancellations.

Netflix also released a fun little clip featuring Alistair Petrie, who plays Principal Groff on the show, going through a list of the special portraits that were revealed for season two. He also stated that fans will have to wait until season three to find out what happens to Otis, Maeve, and Eric after the season two finale.

Asa Butterfield, who stars as Otis, also shared a bunch of special memes on his Instagram story from the Netflix UK and Ireland Instagram page sharing the good news.

Gillian Anderson posted a special selfie with the caption, "See ya soon."

Ncuti also shared the news on his Twitter account originally hinting about it with a simple tweet saying, "Oi you lot," followed by another tweet saying, "We got a season 3."

There's no word on when production for season three will start up, but it should be expected to begin again soon.
