The couple reportedly made their plans directly with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
The Sun claims the move happened “behind the backs” of senior royals, but some sources say otherwise.
Update: November 23, 2020
As Cosmo understands it, Meghan and Harry did indeed happily open their Frogmore Cottage home to the growing Brooksbank fam as they prepare to welcome a baby. Eugenie and Jack now live there, while Meghan and Harry are in the United States, so the reports checked out!
Harper’s Bazaar also reports that the moving choice was hardly shrouded in secrecy (as The Sun previously suggested) and instead “discussed with other members of the royal family,” so take that Sun report with a grain of salt!

In case ya missed yesterday’s news, Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have reportedly moved into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Frogmore Cottage home.
The Sun originally reported this !!! update, saying that Meghan and Harry’s belongings were moved out of Frogmore Cottage in “the dead of night”—and now they’re back with some more tea. The outlet claims this living arrangement switch-up was made—to quote The Sun—“behind the backs” of the senior royals.
“Senior royals were initially blindsided by the idea for Harry and Meg to let Eugenie and Jack move in,” a source said. “Obviously the Queen was told after the couples had spoken about the plan. But it is very much a deal done between Harry, Meghan, Eugenie, and Jack. There is a close bond between them.”
According to The Sun, it looks like Meghan, Harry, Eugenie, and Jack tried to keep the move under the radar, because a source alleges that “removal vans pitched up in the dead of the night and cleared out the cottage. They definitely did not want to be seen.”
Meanwhile, a Buckingham Palace spokesman says, “Frogmore Cottage is the private residence of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and as such any arrangements are a matter for them.”
