Selma Blair Shaves Her Head While Recovering from Multiple Sclerosis Treatment and Shares Message With Fans
Selma Blair has been open about her struggles with multiple sclerosis.
As part of her recovery, she shaved her head and shared an important message with her fans today.
After being strong enough to reveal that she was living with multiple sclerosis (MS) back in October 2018, Selma Blair has been inspiring us all. Since then, she has been an open book with her fans on Instagram. She's candidly shared her MS recovery steps and showed how she lives with the autoimmune disease, all while advocating for others who live with the chronic illness. Selma is now on the road to recovery from MS and revealed today that she's shaved her head and has been discharged from inpatient care.
She thanked the team of nurses and staffers that helped her heal, and posted a pic of herself smiling, debuting a brand-new buzzcut while celebrating this step in her journey.

In her post, Selma says that she's immunocompromised for the next three months and will need to limit interacting with people (read: kissing). Selma also said that her recovery is the best possible gift she could give her son, Arthur, who just celebrated his 8th birthday. (Awww.) Read Selma's touching post in full below:
Today is a banner day. I am being discharged from the care of an incredible team of nurses and techs and a visionary Dr. who believes in my healing as much as I do. This has been a process. And will continue to be one. I am immunocompromised for next three months at least. So no kisses please. I wanted to make sure any complications that might arise here were my private space. And we got through brilliantly. I thank you all for your love and support and that extra dose of great with a @people cover. I see things so much more clearly now. And I am excited to share this journey when I am ready. For now, I have recovery. And a great @the_alinker_world so I gotta split. Bye!!!!!!
