Chrishell Stause certainly hasn’t had the best luck romantically this past year.

After her shock divorce from This Is Us star Justin Hartley dramatically played out on season three of Selling Sunset, things started to look up when she coupled with Dancing With The Stars’ Keo Motsepe.

The pair fell for each other while filming last year, and confirmed things were official in December. In an Instagram Live, Chrishell, who is 39, revealed she was initially hesitant to get with Keo, 31, because of the age gap.

“I had a little bit of a hangup at first,” she said, “I was worried because he’s younger. But a lot of guys my age and older still don’t want what I am looking for.”

The couple shared a series of loved up posts on Valentine’s Day, but called it quits just a few weeks later, after three months of dating.

While at first the breakup seemed amicable, things have taken a dramatic turn. Following a series of posts on E! News and People, the Selling Sunset star took to Instagram to tell her side of the story.

Chrishell posted an extract from an article which stated the split was friendly, to which she added: “Welp! How it started.” In her next post, she said, “Ok I TRULY wanted to keep this drama free, but playing the victim and bringing your mom into it is a step too far for me.”

She then went on to share a screenshot for a self-help page for ‘habitual liars’ with Beyonce and Shakira’s Beautiful Liar song playing in the background.

Her posts caused a stir amongst fans, who accused her of not checking her facts and acting immature. But, Chrishell clapped back, saying “if I end up alone with cats — it was worth it. But I’m also a human and not a robot.”
