Selena Gomez Wore a Chic Oversized Coat on the Set of 'Only Murders in the Building'

Selena Gomez is in New York City filming her new Hulu series, comedy Only Murders in the Building, and she's absolutely killing it with the looks while she's at it. On Sunday, she was seen wearing an oversized double-breasted coat, light-washed denim, and white sneakers. She completed the outfit with a gray face mask, because we're still in the midst of a raging pandemic! She also carried a puffy pink bag on her left shoulder.

The cast was filming their 10-episode show on the Upper West Side, per The Daily Mail. The Mail also reported that Short gave Gomez advice between shots on Sunday as they stood outside of a 13-story apartment building on West 86th Street. Per Deadline, the Hulu series "follows three strangers (Martin, Short and Gomez) who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one."

This is hardly Gomez's first experience with TV. She got her start on Barney & Friends as a young child, and of course, was on Disney's Wizards of Waverly Place starting in 2007. But this show seems to be more aligned with her adult interests. She's a true-crime fan and even attended CrimeCon Chicago last year.

Gomez posted about the trip on her Instagram: "Momma and I being tourists. We take great pictures. OH and we went to CrimeCon! Love you Chicago and the bean."

Only Murders in the Building was co-written and co-created by Martin and Friends co-creator Marta Hoffman.
