Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift Show Two Very Different Ways to Dress for Easter
Good friends Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift celebrated Easter apart yesterday, but both women let the internet have a glimpse of what they wore for their festivities. It turns out they did the holiday very different, fashion-wise: Gomez chose causal comfort, in an oversized pale pink sweater and jeans, while Swift dressed more fancy, in a pastel floral wrap dress by Tanya Taylor.
Swift's pastel outfit unsurprisingly goes with the aesthetic she's been teasing on Instagram ahead of her release Friday of what many believe to be new music. New era, new look, basically. The Tanya Taylor dress retails for $545, but similar looks can be found for as little as $56. Swift's pink-dipped hair, which she debuted at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, appears to still be there.

Gomez's more laidback outfit, on the other hand, is pretty consistent with her street style this year. The singer and actress has often chosen to wear cozy sweaters while going out, whether it be to a friend's birthday brunch or to the recording studio. Gomez dressed down for church service with her friends, as they shared on their Instagram Stories:
But there was a glitzy, luxe touch to the outfit: Gomez's crystal-embellished Gucci shoes. According to fan fashion Instagram Selena Gomez's Closet, the singer wore a $168 Joie sweater with Re/Done jeans and the statement $980 Gucci mules.

Gomez and Swift were last seen together in January this year. Swift shared a photo of them having wine with Cazzie David, captioning it "20wineteen." Gomez was, of course, wearing what appears to be another chic sweater then too. When you have a favorite look, you have a favorite look:
