Selena Gomez Responded to Britney Spears' Instagram Shout-Out With a Sweet, Open Invitation

Following TMZ's report today that a judge denied Britney Spears' request to remove her father from her conservatorship ahead of her scheduled September hearing, Spears posted on Instagram that she is going to “post a little less from now on” because “the news has been pretty nasty saying horrible and mean lies about me.”
She also shared a cooking video and quoted lyrics from Selena Gomez's “Kill Em With Kindness.” Gomez responded to the shoutout with a sweet message to Spears—and a public show of support for Spears as she continues her legal fight to end her conservatorship.
Spears wrote: “In a system where I’ve felt completely hopeless for so long, at least I do have a platform to share !!!! As Selena Gomez says it best - The world can be a nasty place ... I know it ... you know it … kill them with kindness ☀️☀️☀️ !!! Unfortunately the news has been pretty nasty saying horrible and mean lies about me so I’m gonna post a little less from now on 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ !!!! This is Spears' second time giving Gomez a mention on her Instagram this summer. Spears also shared that Gomez privately gifted her products from Gomez's Rare Beauty line and a bikini from Gomez's collab with La'Mariette swimwear.
Spears wrote then, “Ok guys ... great news ☀️ !!! When I woke up I got a very cool box with a bikini in it 👙and my favorite three make up products from @SelenaGomez !!!! Her shimmers are really fun and her spritz for your face before makeup is bomb 💣 and smells very good !!!! Selena ....
