Selena Gomez Made the Most Relatable TikTok About Being Single

Selena Gomez has really excelled at making great, relatable TikTok content, and last night she continued her comedic streak. The singer poked fun at her single status, sharing footage of her reassuring everyone that she’s fine being single and fifth-wheeling two other couples.
“No, I’m fine,” Gomez said. “I’m totally fine being single. It’s a real thing. It’s fine.” Who hasn’t been there?
In March, amid rumors Gomez was dating entrepreneur Zen Matoshi, a source clarified to E! that Gomez wasn’t seeing anyone. “Selena is happily single right now,” the source said.
A source told Entertainment Tonight in June that Gomez’s focus is currently on her career and mental health. “Selena is very traditional, she would love to find ‘her person’ and get married and have a family one day,” the source said. “She is not looking for something serious now and is in no rush to settle down as her priority continues to be her health, career and philanthropy work.”
Gomez addressed the trouble men who spend time with her encounter because of her A-list fame in an interview with the Los Angeles Times in March 2021. She discussed the attention her Only Murders in the Building on-screen love interest Aaron Dominguez got when they were shooting scenes for the show, and PDA photos of them came out. They had been in character in the pics.
“We had just started working together. I honestly thought, ‘No wonder guys don’t want to date me!’” Gomez said. “I think people only care because I’m young, and the older I get the less they’ll care. For now it’s a part of the job that I don’t really like. I’m actually grateful that I’m not involved with anyone right now.”
