Selena Gomez Is Having the Most Enviable Birthday Vacation in Italy RN
ICYMI, Selena Gomez is 27 now!
To celebrate, Sel is currently on vacation in Rome and the Amalfi Coast.
It must be nice to be Selena Gomez. Not just because she's beyond talented, famous, and oh yeah—filthy rich!—but because she can pretty much do whatever TF she wants, whenever she wants. And by "whatever TF she wants," that means planning a blowout birthday vacation at the drop of a hat. Must be nice!
To celebrate her 27th birthday in ~style~, Selena jetted off to Rome and later settled in the Amalfi Coast with her BFF, Raquelle Stevens, and a small group of friends by her side. In true Selena fashion, she didn't post a lot of pics to her Instagram (good for her!), but she did take a teensy break from her eternal social media fast to thank her fans for the birthday wishes.
"Well I’m 27 now," Gomez wrote. "I wanted to thank each and every one of you for your words on my bday. Not just the quick notes. The thought that goes behind every word you write usually ends up with me crying grateful tears like I did last night. Praying for all of you!! I LOVE YOU."

In the time between the two posts, Selena and Raquelle have been living it up. Since Sel likes to stay off the 'gram, Raquelle has been keeping us up to speed on their daily activities while they play vacation tourists. For the most part, it's been lots of city strolling, shopping, and eating—a perfect getaway if you ask me! Check out the breathtaking shots:
According to an E! source, Selena and her group of friends had a two-hour lunch at Pierluigi and were treated to some real fine dining."The table shared several dishes such as raw fish, tagliatelle with lobster, pasta with vodka sauce and various salads," the source said. "They were chatting and laughing the entire time. No candles, cards or cake, but they did have dessert of ice cream and tiramisu." IDK why, but I'm suddenly overcome with hunger...and jealousy.
Selena's vacay is leaving me with more wanderlust than ever. Just a quick PSA: My birthday is in two months, so if someone wants to send me out to the Amalfi Coast...I volunteer as tribute!
