Selena Gomez Debuts a '90s-Inspired Bob at the AMAs

After stepping out last month with waist-grazing waves, Selena Gomez debuted a fresh new crop tonight on the American Music Awards red carpet.

While Gomez has previously sported shoulder-skimming lengths, her latest style, a swingy bob, was accented with a bevy of chunky, strategically placed highlights that recalled the telltale color trend of the '90s. Wearing a neon green satin Versace minidress and matching pumps, Gomez continued the throwback vibe with monochromatic makeup that hinged on smoky brown lids and a coordinating slick of matte lipstick.

The "Lose You To Love Me" singer joins the ranks of It girls—from Jennifer Lopez to Kaia Gerber—that have traded in their long waves for an abbreviated cut. With the holiday season upon us, consider Gomez's new bob the ultimate accessory for a leg-baring party dress.
