Nail artist Tahvya shared a photo of the incredibly intricate pickle designs, which included the Best Maid logo on Blanco’s big toe. The Best Maid detail is likely a reference to Blanco’s TikTok video about making fried pickles for Gomez on Valentine’s Day.

“Fry pickles and get laid,” he captioned the video, in which he showed off a massive jar of Best Maid hamburger slices.

February 12, 2024: Gomez and Blanco are Instagram-grid official! The actor shared four photos of the pair engaging in some PDA, which she captioned, “my bes fwen.”

The first image is a cutesy pic where she’s embracing the producer from behind as he makes hamburger patties, while the second is borderline NSFW. In it Blanco is fully, um, handling his girlfriend.

Blanco commented on the post, “das my best fwen.”

January 8, 2024: Despite not taking home the award for best performance by a female actor in a television musical or comedy at the Golden Globes on January 7, the Only Murders in the Building star still feels victorious.

“I won,” she captions a behind-the-scenes kissing photo with Blanco from the event. And though her date did not join her on the red carpet, he must have been around there somewhere as he is photographed in a suit jacket.

December 21, 2023: Gomez discusses her ideal partner in an interview with Vogue México y Latinoamérica, though it seems to have been conducted prior to her relationship with Blanco going public. According to writer Alejandra Campoverdi, Gomez revealed she’s looking for a connection that “allows for self-respect and holds space for the feelings of others.”

“Honestly, I have to start being attracted to the right kind of people, because it’s a bit of both,” Gomez told the publication, per People. “It’s very hard to find someone who can listen to you and care about you, but I know when it happens, it will be great and you will want it to be healthy.”

Blanco also appears in an Instagram roundup of Gomez’s “favorite moments” from her recent trip to New York City.

A source tells Entertainment Tonight that Gomez recently decided to open up to fans about her relationship because she “finally felt comfortable enough” with Blanco to go public.

“She feels so safe and secure with him, so she felt like it was a good time to share how happy she is with her fans,” the source says. “Benny is a great communicator, is honest and open with Selena, and listens to her. December 7, 2023: Selena Gomez comments, “Facts,” on a post from the Instagram account @popfactions, which shared the headline, “Selena Gomez Seemingly Confirms Relationship With Benny Blanco.”

Following her confirmation, Gomez goes to bat for her new boyfriend in the comments of multiple fan accounts, defending Blanco to followers who question whether or not he’s a good match for the singer.

“That man was shading you years ago,” one follower quipped, to which Gomez replied, “Lol yeah and he’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with.”
