The actress announced her break during a TikTok live.

Selena Gomez is taking a step back from social media.

The Only Murders in the Building star, 30, went live on TikTok earlier today to announce that she will be taking a break from the internet

"I'm very happy. I'm so blessed. I have the best friends, the best fans in the whole world and I just couldn't be happier. I'm good. I love who I am. I don't care. I'm big. I'm not. I don't care. I love who I am," Gomez said, per TMZ. "And yeah, I'm gonna be taking a second from social media, 'cause this is a little silly."

"And I'm 30, I'm too old for this," she added. "But I love you guys so much. And I will see you guys sooner than later. I'm gonna just take a break from everything."

Gomez's break comes just a day after a TikTok user, who goes by the name "Devotedly.yours" caused speculation among fans that the actress and Kylie Jenner were feuding.

In the video, the user explained that Gomez had made an Instagram story on Feb. 21 saying that she "accidentally laminated" her eyebrows too much. A few hours later, Jenner took to her Instagram story to share a selfie with the words "this was an accident???" written over her brows, which fans were quick to assume was in response to Gomez.

The makeup mogul also shared a screenshot of her and her longtime friend, Hailey Bieber–who fans have been known to pit against Gomez–while the two were on FaceTime, showing a closeup shot of their eyebrows.

The TikTok video seemingly made its way to Jenner's "for you" page where she felt inclined to respond, commenting, "This is reaching. No shade towards Selena ever and I didn't see her eyebrow posts! u guys are making something out of nothing. this is silly."

Gomez also saw the TikTok and responded to Jenner's comment, writing, "Agreed @kyliejenner It's all unnecessary. I'm a fan of Kylie!"

Gomez's break from the internet comes the same day that she once again became the most followed account on Instagram with roughly 381,910,827 followers and counting.
