See the Unexpectedly Unsexy Interiors of the ‘Billions’ Mansion

If you’re one of the nearly 3 million people who tuned into the premiere episode of new Showtime series Billions this month, then chances are, you were totally enthralled with the $63 million Hamptons getaway purchased by hedge fund king Bobby Axelrod.

But one thing you definitely didn’t see? The home’s interiors. Because, well… it’s a little bit hideous.

Ok—hideous might be a bit of a stretch. But it sure as heck isn’t the prettiest decor job we’ve ever seen.

Curbed has photos of the sprawling 12 bedroom, 12 bathroom house, owned by media executive Michael Loeb and his wife, Margie. It includes two media rooms, a guest house, and a neat-o functioning zip line. But despite its many desirable attributes, several of its rooms appear to be dark, dingy, and otherwise horribly decorated.

Note the sad beige-y sitting room, the odd crystal wall art, that lime green love seat, the pea-colored padded walls in yet another sitting room—evocative of, I don’t know, an old school mental institution?—and the questionable carpeting throughout.

Yes, it could be worse. But it could also be WAY better. Click through to see more.
