See Sketches of Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt’s Bespoke Wedding Style

Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt’s wedding, held at the exclusive San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, Calif., was stylishly on-point, with both the bride, 29, and the groom, 39, all decked out in custom Armani.

“Yesterday was the best day of our lives!” the beaming bride captioned the couple’s first-released wedding photo (captured by John & Joseph Photography) the next day. “We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives. We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us, and grateful to Mr Giorgio Armani, who created a once in a lifetime dress for me to wear, and for Chris, the perfect suit. This morning we feel nothing but blessed.”

Amid all the hubbub surrounding the pair’s whirlwind romance and nuptials, here are five details that you may or may not have missed about their very special fete.

The Bride Wore Two Gowns

Schwarzenegger had not one, but two custom-fitted Armani Privé gowns. For the first half of the day, she wore a custom white crinoline lace bustier column gown with a full skirt that extended out into a long lace train. She paired the dress with white Armani Privé satin heels and her grandmother’s earrings. Her reception gown, which she slipped into later in the evening, was an Armani Privé ivory silk satin gown with draped sleeves and covered-button detailing that ran down the length of the plunging back gown. She complimented her second dress with a pair of ivory satin heels.

Schwarzenegger’s ‘Something Old’ Belonged to Her Mother

She wore her mother Maria Shriver’s veil. In a sweet nod to family tradition, Schwarzenegger donned the same tulle veil that her mom wore at her wedding to Arnold Schwarzenegger back in 1986. At the time, Shriver and Arnold married in a lavish ceremony at the Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port, Mass.; the couple split in 2011 after 25 years of marriage, though both have maintained strong bonds with their children.

The Wedding Party Wore Custom Armani Too

Armani dressed the wedding party too. Aside from Schwarzenegger’s two stunning dresses and Pratt’s dapper suit, the designer also created the entire bridal party’s outfits as well. Schwarzenegger’s maid of honor, her sister Christina, wore a custom Armani Privé empire dress with a draped skirt in pale pink silk tulle and chiffon with a draped bodice featuring crystals and pearls. The six bridesmaids wore wore custom Giorgio Armani tea-rose silk chiffon dresses with layers of tulle and deep V-necklines. Pratt’s nine groomsmen wore Giorgio Armani classic midnight blue two-button notch lapel wool suits with crisp white shirts and navy blue neckties.

Jack Pratt Matched His Dad

Pratt’s son Jack wore an outfit to match his dad’s. The 6-year-old (whom he shares with ex Anna Faris) wore an Armani Junior midnight blue two-button notch lapel wool suit with a white shirt to match the groomsmen, but a special silver necktie and pochette to match his dad, who also wore a silver necktie.

The Bride’s Wedding Band Matches the Engagement Ring

Schwarzenegger’s new wedding band matches her engagement ring. Less than a week after their wedding, Schwarzenegger stepped out with a new addition to that finger: a sparkling diamond band stacked on top of her already-impressive engagement ring.

According to The Diamond Pro CEO Mike Fried, the band is likely 1.5 to 2 carats based on its thickness. “The one aspect that is noticeable is its delicate nature,” he told Us Weekly. “It appears to blend in perfectly with the engagement ring setting. … It is likely a delicate pave set diamond band that matches her engagement ring.” Pratt proposed to Schwarzenegger in January with an elongated oval-shaped diamond in a delicate solitaire setting likely weighing in at around six or seven carats.
