Happy holidays from the Sussex family!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just released their Christmas card—and their first ever featuring baby Archie. Taken in black and white, it shows the family at ease, relaxing in front of a Christmas tree. The Duchess wears a sweater and the Duke is in a button-down. Front and center is a crawling Archie, who looks inquisitively into the camera. “Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” the card reads. It was tweeted by The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, an organization of which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are president and vice-president of.
Earlier in the week, Buckingham Palace confirmed the royal trio was celebrating the holidays in Canada, alongside Markle’s mother, Doria. Both the Duke and Duchess have ties to the country: not only is it part of the British Commonwealth, but the Duchess lived in Toronto while filming Suits. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sent the couple a welcome tweet: “Prince Harry, Meghan, and Archie, we’re all wishing you a quiet and blessed stay in Canada. You’re among friends, and always welcome here,” he wrote.
