Utah college student wows Katy Perry with her performance of 'Natural Woman'

Sunday night is the final night of auditions for American Idol Season 6 on ABC, and despite Lionel Richie saying, “The biggest surprise of Season 21 is we have too much talent,” the judges—Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan—still have a few more Golden Tickets to Hollywood to hand out, as well as the final Platinum Ticket of the season.

But first, Parade has an exclusive look at Idol hopeful Elise Kristine from Washington state, who recently moved to Utah for college.

“I have sung since I was like 3, so, it’s my entire life, and I want it to be the rest of my life,” Elise tells the judges.

‘OK, Mighty Mouse, let’s go,” Katy encourages her, and Elise sings her heart out on “Natural Woman.”

“Incredible artists are coming out and entrusting us with their talent,” Katy says, and she’s a yes, but Elise needs one more yes from either Lionel or Luke to get a Golden Ticket to Hollywood.
