For the last three decades, Julianne Moore has been a Hollywood force. She’s starred in some of the biggest films of our time, won many major accolades, acted on Broadway, and is even an established children’s book author.

Moore has been in the public eye for years, so chances are you’ve seen her on the big screen, walking a red carpet, or on the cover of a magazine. Actor Steve Bassett appeared on As the World Turns as Seth Snyder, Frannie’s love interest. The two, seen here shooting in Italy, were engaged to be married on the show but (spoiler alert) broke up after Seth slept with Frannie’s sister, Sabrina.

Moore is pictured walking the red carpet for the television film, Cast a Deadly Spell, with her co-star, actor Fred Ward. If Ward looks familiar it’s because he played the dad in Sweet Home Alabama.

The young actress wears a black knit dress layered over a white t-shirt while attending the IFP/West Independent Spirit Awards at the Hollywood Palladium. In 1994, Moore played the character Yelena in Vanya on 42nd Street, a film inspired by Anton Chekhov's play "Uncle Vanya."

Moore poses with fellow talented actors Sylvester Stallone and Whoopi Goldberg while attending a ShoWest convention. Stallone and Moore would appear together later that year in Assassins, an action thriller about a hitman. The movie made $83.5 million worldwide.

The actress once again attended IFP/West Independent Spirit Awards this time dressed in a pistachio-colored two-piece outfit, black sunglasses, and matching black pocketbook.

A pivotal moment in Moore’s career was playing paleontologist Dr. Sarah Harding in the Steven Spielberg-directed film The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Although the movie was physically taxing, Moore has shared that she had a lot of fun during filming. Not only was the movie one of the world’s highest-grossing movies at the time, but it also cemented Moore as a commercial film actress. Here, she is seen arriving at the film’s Los Angeles premiere.

Moore received Academy Award, Golden Globe, and Screen Actors Guild award nominations for her role in director Paul Thomas Anderson’s Boogie Nights, which focuses on a group of people who work in the 1970s porn industry. Film director Bart Freundlich and Moore started dating in 1997 after crossing paths on the set of The Myth of Fingerprints. The two later married in 2003 and have two children together, Caleb and Liv Helen. Here, the two pose for a photo at the LAFCA Awards Luncheon.

Moore smiles alongside her co-star, Jeff Bridges, at The Big Lebowski premiere in New York City. Although The Big Lebowski wasn’t a huge success initially, it is considered a cult classic today.

In 2002, the happy couple traveled to Utah to attend Sundance. The two went to the premiere of World Traveler, a drama film directed by Freundlich that Moore starred in.

Moore is pictured here taking part in the 6th Annual Revlon Run/Walk For Women Against Breast Cancer. A few years later Moore would join forces with QVC and jewelry designer Robert Lee Morris to release a sterling silver charm as part of QVC’s “Designer Charms for Charity." Net proceeds from the jewelry piece went to benefit CFDA’s Fashion Targets Breast Cancer program.

Pierce Brosnan and Moore share a laugh while filming the 2004 romantic comedy Laws of Attraction. The two play rival divorce lawyers who fall in love.
