From Scratch viewers point out Amy criticism STEFANO MONTESI/NETFLIX

Inspired by a heartbreaking true story, From Scratch on Netflix is all our Twitter timelines are talking about right now. Not only are viewers looking up the real-life people behind the characters, but sharing one gripe they have with Zoe Saldaña's character Amy.

From Scratch follows American art student Amahle "Amy" Wheeler, played by Zoe, who is studying abroad in Florence, Italy. She meets Sicilian chef Lino (Eugenio Mastrandrea) and the pair quickly fall in love, only for their bubble to be brutally burst when they discover he's unwell.

While many viewers have called the show "gut-wrenching" and "beautiful", others have been sharing one criticism about the casting - pointing out that while Zoe Saldaña is an incredible actor, she's aged 44 - and the character Amy is a 20-something student.

As one put it, "Are we really supposed to believe Zoe Saldaña is supposed to be a 20-something law student? Like. She can just be our age and seeking a new path. But 20ish?!? Chile."

Another added, "Okay Zoe Saldaña looks damn good for her age but she can’t pass for an early-mid 20 something" and "Zoe Saldaña looks great at any age, but for real though, y'all want me to look at this lady and think 'Young twenty-something in transition'?"

Others pointed out that actors should be able to morph into characters as they see fit, and hey, Zoe really does makes 40 look like 20. "HOW DOES ZOE SALDANA NOT AGE," one wrote, while another put, "She hasn't changed a bit!"

We're all for it. You do you, Zoe!
