Scott Disick reveals he broke up with Sofia Richie because she gave him an ultimatum about Kourtney

Scott Disick has opened up about why his relationship with ex-girlfriend Sofia Richie broke down, saying that his friendship with Kourtney Kardashian left her feeling neglected and led her to give him an ultimatum.
It's no secret that Scott and Kourtney from Keeping Up With The Kardashians have an unusually friendly relationship, considering they were a couple for so long. The pair, who share three children, often holiday and hang out together, despite no longer being romantically involved.
Something, which, in a new KUWTK trailer, Scott admits left his ex-girlfriend Sofia feeling a bit left out. "I realise that Sofia has been an absolute trooper but the truth is anybody dating somebody is going to feel neglected when their significant other is spending more time with their ex than with them," he said to Kourtney.
"I don't think I could do it the other way around but I've always been clear that my priority has been my children, my life with them and I even put it out there that taking care of you is one of my priorities."
Scott added that "we do come with a lot of baggage and it's definitely not easy that we see each other, work together and are friends. You know, I just don't know how we are just gonna like grow old just travelling the world with the kids... living like one house down from each other or together at some point."
Opening up about the split in the first episode of the final series of KUWTK, Scott revealed to Kim and Khloé that he and Sofia broke up after she gave him an ultimatum about Kourtney.
"I thought I would give it a try and make her more of a priority, but then even when doing that, I feel like she just started wanting to push Kourtney out," he said.
"And I said like, that's the most important thing to me is my kids and that's my family, and the only family I have, including you guys along with it."
Scott said that Sofia responded to this saying, "'I don't want to share you as a boyfriend with Kourtney,' And then she literally said with an ultimatum: 'You have to choose me or Kourtney.'"
"And I was like, 'But Kourtney is Kourtney and my kids - it's a unit,'" he contiued. "I was like, 'How could you even want that for me?' It just became like, an impossible relationship to keep carrying on with, right?"
Scott and Sofia split after three years together in summer 2020, and he is now dating Amelia Hamlin. Kourtney, meanwhile, recently went public with her relationship with Travis Barker.
