A report from E! News says Scott Disick was in rehab to "work on his past traumas."
The outlet originally reported he was seeking treatment for substance abuse issues. Scott previously struggled with substance abuse issues in 2017.
Attorney Marty Singer has responded to E!'s report that Scott Disick checked into rehab, clarifying that he was not there for substance abuse-related reasons, but instead to "work on his past traumas."
"In an effort to finally come to terms and deal with the pain that Scott has been silently suffering for many years due to the sudden death of his mother, followed by the death of his father 3 months later, Scott made the decision to check himself into a rehab facility last week to work on his past traumas. He did not check in for any alcohol or cocaine abuse," Singer said in a statement. "Shockingly as a result of the HIPAA violation of the facility and his violation of privacy, he has checked himself out and is immediately returning home. We are alarmed by this extreme invasion of privacy and plan to take immediate legal action."

Scott Disick, who has a previous history of struggling with substance abuse issues, has now entered rehab. According to an E! News report, Scott is currently getting help for substance abuse issues at a facility located in Edwards, Colorado, and has reportedly been there since last week.
“It’s true. Scott checked in last week. He had a lot of guidance from Kourtney and she demanded that he get help,” a source confirmed to E! News. “Things have been bad the last couple of weeks and Kourtney won’t allow him around the kids unless he gets treatment.”
Scott has been sober for the past couple of years after seeking treatment in 2017, when he was reportedly hospitalized on a psychiatric hold. After getting better, he started dating Sofia Richie and dedicated himself to a healthier lifestyle, a source told Us Weekly at the time.
Scott is still keeping up with his social media, letting fans know he’s okay. He hasn’t updated his Instagram feed in a little more than a week but has made it a point to continue posting on his Stories. In fact, he posted a picture sporting a very fancy gold watch an hour ago.
Sincerely hoping that Scott is able to get to a healthier place soon.
